NewsroomPanasonic opens 3D Innovation CentrePanasonic Corporation has announced that it has set up a 3D innovation centre in The aim of the centre, which will be fully operational on 12 July 2010, is to accelerate the development of the electronics giant’s 3D business, as this technology is expected to create a new viewing culture. Panasonic also hopes that by creating this innovation centre it will be able to expand its network AV business, one of its key business fields, and help the 3D industry to develop as a whole. The Japanese electronics manufacturer has decided to invest in 3D technology innovation as it believes that the technology will expand outside the audiovisual field into a range of industries including the arts, education, IT and social infrastructure. Focusing on customer satisfaction, the centre will also be working closely with businesses from a number of industries to maximise opportunities.
