Ernie is a co-founder of Brooklands. He is a qualified accountant and economist with twenty-five years pan European consultancy experience, working with blue-chip businesses and private equity houses. A key focus has been bottom line improvement including leading major projects in the areas of post acquisition integration, cost reduction, performance improvement, supply chain, management development programmes and turnaround. Ernie has a high level of forensic financial skill, is a change management agent and facilitator. He is a fluent German speaker with extensive experience in the UK, Europe and the USA, and was previously a director of five Shell subsidiary companies and Financial Controller with CIBA-Geigy. Ernie also has particular experience of the chemicals, petro-chemical, transport, shipping, distribution and building materials sectors.

Martin is a co-founder of Brooklands with twenty years consultancy experience, gained largely within blue chip UK, European and US businesses and private equity houses.  He has worked extensively on market study and strategy projects, as well as post acquisition integration, innovation, sales, marketing, business development, customer service, turnaround and major organisation design programmes. Martin is a change management agent and facilitator with broad business experience, and formerly held senior management positions and directorships with the Michael Peters Design Group, More O’ Ferrall, Alcan and Norcros. 

Martin is a graduate mechanical engineer with extensive experience in business transformation and tactical performance improvement within large blue chip organisations and with private equity houses. With over fourteen years consultancy experience, he specialises in organisation design and the management of change, having managed major innovation programmes in automotive, aerospace, food manufacturing, building distribution and the police service. Martin is fluent in Spanish with experience in the UK, Ireland, Spain, France and the USA, and he has held senior HR positions for Glanbia and Peugeot.  Martin also has particular experience of the transport, shipping and building materials sectors.

Bob is a Chartered Engineer, Management Fellow and EFQM Assessor who has over twenty years board level and consulting experience. He has the ability to apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to complex projects, and has experience of delivering continuous improvement based on business excellence and innovation methodologies as well as company turnarounds.  Bob has in-depth knowledge of  innovation, manufacturing, quality, design and development and supply chain areas - an originator and a facilitator with a strong track record of increasing business performance. Bob has undertaken major projects in Australia, UK, Europe and the USA.
